Our staff is committed to providing the best possible care for you and your family. Dr. Haack's clinical assistants have an average of 18 years of chairside experience, and continue to grow in their knowledge of orthodontics through continuing education courses with the American Association of Orthodontists, Midwestern Society of Orthodontists, and the Minnesota Association of Orthodontists. Our team enjoys meeting new patients and seeing the wonderful new smiles that emerge as a result of orthodontic treatment. Our front desk and chairside staff are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding your treatment.
Carol is our office manager and new patient coordinator. You may meet her at your initial exam or to set up initial appointments when beginning treatment. She has been a treatment coordinator for 19 years. She enjoys working with patients and their parents and seeing beautiful smiles created. She also likes reading, crafts, gardening, camping, and traveling.
Jane is in charge of our records room and lab. She takes x-rays and photos, makes models of teeth, makes retainers, and keeps track of orthodontic appliances that are made at other labs. She occasionally does other chairside assisting and has done most everything in her 31 years of orthodontic work. She likes meeting all the new people that come to our office and helping create nice results. She also collects cookbooks, does any type of needlework, reads, and bird-watches.
Kathy has been a chairside assistant for 27 years and also is in charge of purchasing supplies such as braces and wires that we need to treat patients. She enjoys the variety of work she does, the kids she gets to meet and treat, and the changes in the kids and their smiles that she gets to see. She also makes retainers and does orthodontic lab work, is a gifted stain glass artist, and has a pug (dog) named Emma.
Randine does chairside assisting, reception at our clinics in Spooner and Hayward, and consulting/coordinating with new patients. She has been doing this for 20 years and also enjoys working with a variety of people and seeing great smiles. She is a Cameron native who likes gardening, bike riding, and spending time with her two grandsons.
Donna has been a chairside assistant for 8 years. She's the go-to person when odd jobs need to be done around the clinic. Donna enjoys meeting new people and hearing about their various interests. Donna is a Rice Lake native and enjoys hiking, walking, and antiquing.
Tami has also been a chairside assistant for 8 years. She's got computer skills that have helped move our office into the digital age (especially with digital x-rays and photos). She enjoys working with all the great kids and seeing great end results to their treatment. She is a Barron High School graduate and enjoys shopping, decorating, time with family, walking, and hot weather (preferably with beaches and sunshine).
Tara Leigh has been an orthodontic assistant for 4 years and also has several years of experience assisting family dentists. She likes the hands-on aspect of assisting and the brisk pace with which we work — taking the time necessary to get the job done but not wasting our patients' or parents' time. Tara is a former Miss Chetek and enjoys spending time with her family, playing softball, bowling, and playing or watching most sports.
Mary is our financial/insurance coordinator and assists with receptionist and scheduling duties. She has 25 years of medical/dental work experience and enjoys meeting and greeting patients in a fun atmosphere and working with a great team. Mary, a Cumberland native, is an accomplished wood carver and has been known to frequent local golf courses.
